In Search Of features a bird’s eye view of myself engaged in its titular activity – an intensive effort to find something. An almost literal interpretation of the idiom ‘finding a needle in a haystack,’ I intentionally misplaced a tiny object for myself to retrieve from the open ground on a sunny afternoon.

Without any given context, the situation emanates a sense of haplessness and my slow prowling, crouching and crawling appear dehumanising, perhaps even bordering animalistic.
