Sleepwalking
2016
Multi-channel FHD video, colour
2 minutes 37 seconds
Sleepwalking is a tetraptych video in response to the banality of modern life, where one may be awake physically, yet goes through life in a seemingly unconscious state, with no clear purpose. Who are we? Where exactly are we going?
Consciousness, actual awareness of the world around us, seems increasingly impossible, perhaps even lost and this is reflected through my act of 'walking' aimlessly across unoccupied spaces in complete surrender to the control of masked stagehands, liken to a puppet.
